SIME, Sweden

Professor Mats Lindegarth (SIME and University of Gothenburg – Department of Marine Sciences) is part-time involved at the national, multi-disciplinary Swedish Institute for the Marine Environment, and has extensive experience in research and committees on WFD and MSFD. He has previously coordinated the PREHAB project and has recently been the coordinator of a major Swedish national project on assessment criteria for the WFD (WATERS). Dr Richard Emmerson (SIME) is a project coordinator with extensive experience in national and regional coordination of monitoring and assessment under MSFD and OSPAR. He is currently co-convenor of the OSPAR working group on coordination of biodiversity assessment and monitoring. Dr Emmerson will lead WP4 and WP5. Professor Anders Grimvall (SIME) is a professor emeritus in statistics with long experience of interdisciplinary work ranging from probability theory, statistics and software development to environmental chemistry and environmental management.
